Laziness= A LONG Hiatus!
So, I know I disappeared for like a month... I have no excuse except that I got temporarily lazy, but I'm BACK!!! I'm going to keep this short and sweet for now, but keep your wits about you because there will be a new blog this weekend and I'm about to blow your minds with my humor and witty repartee... UNLEASH THE FURY CAPS FANS!

FAIL...
Typical Pittsburgh... Price had some swagger, MAF just looks like an idiot.
Someone get this team some PROZAC! STAT!
Bolts shut out the Caps...again. I mean, Roloson is good, but he's not THAT good. If Varlamov had been the only guy who showed up last night the outcome might not have been any worse, so why did the rest of the team even bother suiting up? Varly was awesome again, but he was consistently hung out to dry all night. The laziness is unbelievable. I mean, this is a professional hockey team, right? They all look completely deflated out there. I just don't understand it! Put your big girl panties on and play some friggin hockey! I'm a little concerned about Gabby's response to the loss in his postgame as well. I hope he really doesn't believe that this game was lost due to bad bounces and lack of "luck". Maybe he's just trying to spin it for the press, and maybe trying to avoid putting his team into a deeper depression than they're already in the throes of. It concerns me that he actually said that the Caps came out wanting this win, I do not agree with that in the least and I think anyone can see othewise.

So gangster.
I can't stand MTL (for obvious reasons), but Carey Price is pretty much my hero now.

Bolts Postgame Musings
Last year, all across the interweb the rockers of the red were up in arms that we needed defense. The record was unbelievable (something like 54–15–13, 121 points and a little bauble you may have heard of called a Presidents' Trophy not to mention a 14 game winning streak). Well Caps Fans, you got what you wished for. Our defense has stepped up immensely since the "dark times" of December. I have seen a huge improvement in Mike Green in particular defensively and I see a whole heck of a lot of potential from John Carlson. I'm also thrilled that Scott Hannan has seemingly found his groove alongside Greener after an extremely rough start. The problem is that offense is now virtually non-existent, especially from 2 Russians and a Swede you may be familiar with. The highest scoring team in the league has turned into the Buffalo Sabres.

It's a Capital Offense
Oh how I love puns... So, this is the very first post on my brand-spanking-new Blog. I seem to have a lot to say, so I thought I needed an outlet. I don't really know what this will end up being, so please bear with me while I figure it out. There's sure to be some game previews and recaps and caps news-a-plenty. I probably won't be posting much to begin with, but who knows where it'll go? Surely, not I. So let's all hop on the Acela Express, enjoy the journey.
